Dubai Municipality will distribute 9 million flowering plants to citizens and expatriates in the emirate to mark the 9th anniversary of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s accession to the rulership of Dubai.
The director general of Dubai Municipality, Hussein Nasser Lootah, said the municipality decided to mark the occasion on January 4 by spreading joy and cheer throughout Dubai, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.
