Axa Insurance in the Gulf has introduced a home assistance emergency repair service in the UAE. Available to customers who buy home contents insurance, the added benefit helps those faced with unexpected disasters such as flooding or fire. Available 24/7, it will cover locksmith, electrical and plumbing emergencies.
Free rides for car insurance
ServiceMarket.com and Careem have teamed up to offer UAE residents free rides when they buy car insurance cover via ServiceMarket. Customers buying a comprehensive policy will receive a Dh250 voucher to use Careem’s chauffeur service for five days while their car is being repaired.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has opened its 83rd UAE branch in Al Shamkha Mall. The branch is the 12th ADIB outlet in east Abu Dhabi and the sixth mall branch in the UAE. ADIB says its research shows that having physical branches with extended operating hours is still a priority for customers.
UAE Exchange partners with Sri Lanka’s eZ Cash
Sri Lankan expats in the UAE can send foreign remittances instantly and directly to their beneficiary’s mobile phone after a tie-up between UAE Exchange and Sri Lanka’s mobile payment network, eZ Cash. Those receiving the funds can then use them to pay utility bills, transfer money to other eZ Cash wallets and withdraw cash from ATMs with a secured wallet PIN.
