Sky News Arabia, the Arabic news channel set to start broadcasting later this year, has launched its website.
The site - at skynewsarabia.com - contains videos and text articles across several categories including finance and sport.
Nart Bouran, head of Sky News Arabia, said that the website was undergoing testing and new features would be added soon.
"I am extremely happy to say that the Sky News Arabia website is now in BETA test phase," said Mr Bouran.
"Over the coming weeks, skynewsarabia.com will develop considerably and will be continually updated with new features added all the time. The fully fledged website will be available when the television channel goes to air this spring."
Sky News Arabia, which is based in Abu Dhabi, yesterday named six of the presenters whom will front the 24-hour news channel.
Amr Abdelhamid, formerly of Al Arabiya and Al Jazeera, who has interviewed international figures including Vladimir Putin and Hamid Karzai, is among the recruits.
Other Sky News Arabia presenters include Fadila Souissi, Yusuf Serif, Rita Malouf, Faisal Bin Huraiz and Nada Al-Shaibani.
