Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s largest advertising firms, has acquired a digital marketing agency with operations in the UAE.
The French firm said today it had acquired the India-headquartered Resultrix, which has offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore, Seattle and Dubai.
“This acquisition strengthens both Publicis Groupe’s presence in India as well as its digital dominance,” Publicis said in a statement.
Resultrix, which was founded in 2008, specialises in online media, web design and search-engine marketing.
It employs over 100 people and clients include Standard Chartered Bank, Airtel and Emirates NBD. Publicis did not disclose the value of the transaction.
The deal follows the announcement in February that Publicis had bought the Dubai-based digital-media agency Flip Media.
Publicis, which is listed in Paris, also controls advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi.
