DUBAI // A smartphone app that aims to promote health awareness, education and promote smart learning through self-discovery has been launched by Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The Aqdar Smart Heritage Village coincides with celebrations for the UAE’s 43rd National Day. The app is the fourth awareness project by the Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme and is available on the Apple Store and Google Play.

Sheikh Saif stressed the importance of apps as an attractive and influential means of spreading the spirit of the union to the youth.

Dr Nasser Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, highlighted the importance of apps in spreading community values, reflecting Emirati culture, identity and civilisation.
