DUBAI// A Dh15 million hypercar has become the most expensive car to be put up for sale on classifieds site dubizzle.

The McLaren P1 Carbon Series is one of only five in the world and boasts acceleration from standstill to 100kph in 2.8 seconds and will reach 300kph in 16.5 seconds.

It has also been retrofitted with a bare carbon-fibre body with additional design changes made to order by clients.

“The interior features carbon-fiber seats with minimum cushioning, a glass roof made from aircraft-grade glass – the lightest glass on the market,” said the dubizzle UAE posting.

“Activating the P1’s race mode lowers the car 50mm on the suspension to tuck the tyres into the arches and raises the rear-wing by 300mm at a 29-degree angle producing 600kg of down-force at 160mph [257kph].
