An online chat service has been launched by Dubai Police to allow the public to interact with staff and get answers to questions.
Brigadier General Omar Abdullah Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Operations at Dubai Police, said that the chat service will be available through the website of the General Command of Dubai Police. The move is in compliance with the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to provide government services that make people happy and exceed expectations, and follows the Smart Government and Dubai Smart City initiatives.
The new service will contribute to strengthening the channels of communication with the public, with a police employee at the 901 call centre able to provide give quick responses to enquiries around the clock.
