Emirates airline
Benefits: Book a ticket by August 22 and get special fares for destinations across the globe on Emirates, including 15 cities in the Americas, 47 in Europe, 15 in the Middle East, eight in Africa and 43 in the Asia Pacific region. However, travel during Eid Al Adha is still more expensive than other days during the offer period.
Beware of: You must use your outbound ticket by December 14.
Etihad Airways
Benefits: The carrier is offering discounts on tickets in economy and business classes for travel until December 14. For instance, buy an economy class ticket to Singapore for Dh1,950 by August 22 and travel by December 14. The minimum length of stay varies from a baseline of three days to a maximum of four months.
Beware of: The sales end on a variety of dates. The discount ends as early as today for Cairo in business class, but August 30 in Manila in economy class.
Flydubai
Benefits: Flydubai is offering a 30 per cent discount on its fares to select destinations from as low as Dh395 return from Dubai when outbound travel is between September 18 and December 15. The destinations include Alexandria from Dh930, Amman from Dh805, and Bangkok from Dh1,110 in economy class. The Dh395 fare gets you Doha.
Beware of: Sale ends on Monday.
