Nakheel awards Dh120m contract for Al Furjan infrastructure in Dubai

The community is already underway with 800 homes in Phase 1 delivered.

The Dubai developer Nakheel has awarded a Dh120 million contract for infrastructure works at its Al Furjan community in the emirate.

The project is well underway, with 800 homes in Phase 1 already delivered and another 400 being built.

The contract has been given to Dubai-based Target & Jima Construction Contract and will involve the building of 16 kilometres of roads in preparation for 500 third party villa plots, said Nakheel in a statement.

Nakheel is also building a 10,000 metre retail and recreation hub at Al Furjan, with supermarkets, cafes, a swimming pool and other amenities.

Al Furjan is located between Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.
