Dubai’s Drake and Scull has won a Dh290 million contract to provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for a mixed-use property development in Downtown Dubai, the engineering firm said on Sunday.
The project is scheduled to be completed by 2016, while the latest award takes the value of contracts won by Drake and Scull this year to about Dh1 billion, it said in a filing to Dubai’s bourse.
“We are delighted to have secured the Jewel of the Creek MEP contract and the Dh334m iconic hotel project in Dubai earlier this year. We look forward to a year of growth and consolidation across all our key markets,” said Ahmad Al Naser, managing director, Drake & Scull Engineering.
