Real estate developer Damac Properties added 500 units across two serviced hotel apartments in Dubai Downtown last month.

Damac Maison The Vogue and Naia Breeze, which is managed by the developer’s hospitality division, were among the five projects from the developer in the last 14 months.

Damac Hotels and Resorts currently manages around 1,450 rooms, according to Niall McLoughlin, the senior vice president for Damac Properties.

It is also developing Damac Towers by Paramount, which includes Paramount Hotels and Resorts and three serviced apartment towers, also in Dubai Downtown.

It expects to manage 13,000 units of hotel rooms, serviced hotel apartments and serviced villas by 2019.
