Emaar Properties rose the most in a month after the Dubai developer proposed a 10 per cent cash dividend.
Emaar rose 2.8 per cent to Dh3.27. Dubai's main benchmark, the Dubai Financial Market General Index added 0.8 per cent to 1570.91.
In Abu Dhabi, Sorouh Real Estate was the top gainer, adding 4 per cent to Dh1.28. The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange General Index added 0.4 per cent to 2644.57.
Elsewhere in the region, Qatar's index added 0.3 per cent to 8402. Oman's measure lost 0.6 per cent to 6327.80. Kuwait's index remained flat at 6303. Bahrain's measure lost 0.1 per cent to 1426. The Saudi Tadawul All-Share Index was flat at 6508.28.
