Aldar Properties, the Abu Dhabi developer, has launched the sale of its Penthouse Collection at the iconic Gate Towers development on Reem Island.
The 21 duplex penthouses were launched at Cityscape Abu Dhabi and are located in a curved sky-bridge spanning approximately 300 metres across the three towers.
Each penthouse features a private indoor pool overlooking the city, as well as high specification and contemporary interiors. The Gate development also benefits from an array of amenities such as swimming pools, playgrounds, tennis courts and Boutik Gate – a community shopping mall.
Gurjit Singh, the chief development officer at Aldar, said: "The penthouse apartments are a unique investment proposition in Abu Dhabi. Shams Abu Dhabi is in a prime location that benefits from being next to the business district of Al Marayah Island, Repton School, as well as retail amenities such as Boutik Sun and Sky."
In addition to Aldar’s developments and facilities in Shams Abu Dhabi on Reem Island, there are a total of 98 different sub-developments planned on Shams Abu Dhabi, according to Aldar.
Eight of these have been completed, another eight are either already under construction or will commence construction in 2014-2015, and 61 have designs which have either been approved by Aldar or are currently under review.

Sharrie Williams
The American singer is hugely respected in blues circles due to her passionate vocals and songwriting. Born and raised in Michigan, Williams began recording and touring as a teenage gospel singer. Lin Rountree

Anita Williams
Dubai-based singer Anita Williams will open the night with a set of covers and swing, jazz and blues standards that made her an in-demand singer across the emirate. The Irish singer has been performing in Dubai since 2008 at venues such as MusicHall and Voda Bar. Her Jazz Garden appearance is career highlight as she will use the event to perform the original song Big Blue Eyes, the single from her debut solo album, due for release soon.
