Could it get any worse for the northern emirates' petrol stations?
Today Sharjah said it would

all of Enoc's gas stations there as a penalty for not stocking up.
A fuel shortage has persisted in the northern emirates as high oil prices force companies like Emarat and Enoc to sell fuel at an even higher loss than usual or to stop sales altogether. The Government requires retailers to sell petrol at a rate lower than the market price.
That came just hours after armed men
[ burst ]
into a Sharjah Emarat station's convenience store and stole Dh80,000.
