Ahmed Al Mazroei is an award-winning inventor and the chief executive of Ahmed Almazroei Metal Industries. Based in Abu Dhabi, the 34-year-old from Ajman has developed camel racing robots and an automated system for training falcons as well as numerous other inventions. Mr Al Mazroei has had no formal training, and first caught the inventor bug after he learnt to drive as a young boy and began tinkering with cars.
