Zayn Malik to collaborate with Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor?

The singer, who pulled out of pop band One Direction a few days before the ir UAE performance in April, is apparently in talks to sing for a Hindi film alongside songstress Kanika Kapoor.

Shah Rukh Khan tweeted out a selfie he took with Zayn Malik at The Asian Awards held in the UK in April.

If rumours are true, ex-One Directioner Zayn Malik is heading to Bollywood to sing for an upcoming Hindi film, and will collaborate with singer Kanika Kapoor, best known for her hit track Baby Doll in Ragini MMS 2.

Indian news website ndtv.com quoted a source who said Kapoor and Zayn "are set to work on a song for an upcoming movie. They have already met to discuss the music".

Kapoor has neither confirmed nor denied the news, fuelling speculation that it is true.

“I don’t want to comment on this right now,” the singer said. “Whenever I have to announce anything, I will make sure that I tell you.”

Malik has been seen with popular Bollywood stars in the recent past, most notably Shah Rukh Khan, and posted a selfie with the actor on social media. Last week, Malek and filmmaker Farah Khan engaged in a series of lighthearted tweets about Malik starring in a sequel to her 2004 blockbuster Main Hoon Na starring SRK and Sushmita Sen.
