Yahoo Maktoob debuts new lifestyle web series

Yahoo Maktoob has announced a new lifestyle web series that will provide homemakers with tips and tricks to spruce up their space.

Beit Omaima, will be aired twice every week on Yahoo Maktoob’s Helwa portal. The show will be hosted by  top chef, florist and interior designer Omaima Marmarchi and four co-hosts from the Arab World.

Viewers will gain tips on crafty projects, the best foods to boost metabolism, how to make potpourri and many such DIY ideas. The segments will focus on cooking, creating floral arrangements, planning parties and discovering fresh ideas to decorate the home.

“Yahoo Maktoob continues to enhance people’s daily habits online by providing entertaining, inspiring, and informative content for our regional audience,” says Amira Rashad, the Head of Media at Yahoo Maktoob. “Our new Beit Omaima show caters to our regional audience by providing all of Omaima’s personal easy-to-do lifestyle tips in Arabic and English.”

The show led by Omaima, who was refereed to as the Middle Eastern ‘Martha Stewart’ by BBC Good Food Magazine, will be provide expert inputs and encourage viewers to tap into their creativity to transform their lifestyle.

“The home is your sanctuary,” says Omaima. “I look forward to inspiring and informing viewers by sharing some of my favorite tips to make homes the most beautiful place to be. It is very rewarding to be able to do what I love and host this show on Yahoo Maktoob to engage with a large Middle Eastern audience.”
