• Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge are the new faces of Burberry. The engaged couple star in the brand's autumn/winter 2013-14 campaign. 'This was a shoot full of love and laughter,' said Burberry's chief Christopher Bailey. 'It was such a treat to capture their magic together'.

• When she's away from the stage and at home, Kylie Minogue insists she 'can go to total frumpsville': 'I'm a complete let-down. At home the stilettos come off. I'd love to maintain this illusion that I kind of elegantly waft around home but I need that balance in my life – to just be completely anti-fashion'.

• David Bowie has been offered a role on the second season of the TV show Hannibal. 'We have reached out to David Bowie to see if he's interested and available,' the series creator Bryan Fuller told E! News. 'We would love for him to play Hannibal's uncle, who is a character from the literature and in the books'.

• The Montreux Jazz Festival features three concerts by Prince as well as shows by Leonard Cohen, Sting and Joe Cocker. The event on the shores of Lake Geneva is the 47th edition of the festival, which has retained its jazz label despite expanding its repertoire over the years. • Natalie Cole has released her first Spanish album. She dedicates it to her kidney donor in 2009, a woman from El Salvador who died while giving birth to a baby boy. The 12-track album is a compilation of Latin American classics, plus a Spanish-language version of the Beatles' And I Love Her.

• Is the 21-year-old Samantha Shannon the next JK Rowling? Bloomsbury is pinning its hopes for the next big fantasy-fiction franchise on the Oxford student, whose first novel, The Bone Season, will be released in August.

• Drake revealed that his new album, titled Nothing Was the Same, will release on September 17. Four new songs can be heard on Drake's blog and they include collaborations with Sampha, J Cole, PartyNextDoor and Migos.
