Cinema Space at Madinat Al Saadiyat is to bring some exclusive free screenings of restored classics to audiences in Abu Dhabi later this month. James Mason stars as Captain Nemo in Disney’s Oscar winning Oscar-winning 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, while Kirk Douglas is among his shipwrecked captives. The film will screens for families at 4pm on Saturday April 15, and for general audience at 7.30pm on Monday April 24, while the Moroccan classic Trances, restored with the assistance of Martin Scorsese’ Film Foundation, screens on Saturday 15 at 7pm.
All screenings are free of charge, though audiences should prebook spaces here first.
