Prada

In 2007, Miuccia Prada collaborated with perfumer Daniela Roche Andrier to create her Les Infusions de Prada collection for women. Infusion d'Iris was the first official fragrance of the line, followed by Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger in 2009 and de Vetiver in 2010. All three were originally created as limited editions but in 2015, the collection was relaunched as a permanent line, with the addition of Infusion d'Amande, d'Iris Cedre and d'Oeillet. Now, Prada has unveiled the newest addition to the collection, Les Infusion de Prada Mimosa. This powdery, floral fragrance offers top notes of anise oil and mandarin essence, heart notes of mimosa and a woody, rose absolute base. Like the other six fragrances, Mimosa is encased in a glass bottle decorated with the house's classic emblem. The cap matches the colour of the fragrance – a sunny shade of yellow – and a 100ml bottle is priced at Dh550.

Piaget

The Swiss jewellery and watchmaking brand Piaget recently launched The Sunny Side of Life high-jewellery and timepiece collection. The collection is made up of 150 pieces, including an 18K white gold necklace (pictured) with a pear-shaped emerald weighing approximately 5.31 carats, and 223 brilliant-cut diamonds. Also new is a revamp of the Piaget Polo timepiece, which was created in 1979 and featured a bracelet that was integrated with the case, a first for the brand. The Polo S collection features five timepieces with an all-steel design, another first for Piaget. An automatic version with a 1110P movement is available with a blue, silver or grey dial, while the chronograph, equipped with a 1160P movement, is available with a silver or blue dial. The collection was unveiled in New York, where newly appointed brand ambassador Ryan Reynolds and Emirati influencer Mohammed Sultan Al Habtoor were in attendance.

Alexander McQueen x Globe-Trotter

After collaborating with Vivienne Westwood in 2013, British luxury-luggage brand Globe-Trotter has teamed up with Alexander McQueen, to create two new exclusive cases. The 13-inch mini utility case and 21-inch trolley are fashioned from black vulcanised fibreboard, with added leather corners, and include silver studs for a bolder look. The utility case features a crossbody shoulder strap, while the trolley has a single strap that wraps around the case for added security. Both straps are fastened with a padlock in the shape of the iconic Alexander McQueen skull, and are accompanied by a black leather clochette that holds two sets of keys. The interior is decorated with the skull motif and an Alexander Mcqueen plaque. Only a limited number of each case is available, and can be purchased from Alexander McQueen stores across the UAE. The mini utility case is priced at Dh4,600, while the trolley case costs Dh10,800.

Aigner

The German leather goods, fashion and jewellery brand Aigner embraced the concept of wild horses, along with the horseshoe motif, early on in its inception. To this day, the brand continues to adorn many of its products with the horseshoe symbol, and its newest collection of timepieces for women, Aigner One Carat Arco, is no exception. This limited-edition watch is available in three designs – silver, gold and two-toned – with only 149 pieces available for each. The timepieces are each emblazoned with 280 diamonds, and feature a horseshoe-shaped face and mother-of-pearl dial. The Aigner One Carat Arco collection is available at Paris Gallery, Dubai, with the silver model priced at Dh11,125, the two-toned model at Dh11,875, and the gold model at Dh12,375.
