Step aside Van Gough and make way for the artistic dream team of otters Cato, Tiny, Bilo and Diego.

The six-year-old mammals will display their work in their own exhibition at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

The Great Otter Art Exhibition, running until December 30, will have visitors watch our furry friends paint pictures as part of the aquarium's animal skills training scheme.

Human beings can join the fun too with an interactive exhibition on aquatic and marine life and a children's art corner where they can create their own works.

"Otters are among the favourite species of Underwater Zoo’s visitors." said Maitha Al Dossari, chief executive of Emaar Retail LLCC which runs the aquarium. "

"With their adorable features and playful personality, it’s easy to understand their popularity. As they are active, clever and eager to learn, our qualified trainers have taught them new behaviours that they’ve welcomed with enthusiasm. We hope our visitors will enjoy getting to know them better and that they will be impressed by their artistic skills.”
