Aldar Properties just put out this release. A water park sounds about right - Crane Country's thermometer reads 104 degrees (40 degrees celsius) and it's not even the height of summer yet. Here are the basic details: It will cover 16.4 hectares on Yas Island and include "over 40 rides and attractions including four one-of-a-kind rides that have never been seen before in a water park".
"Aldar has also initiated the prequalification process for main contractors for the project and construction work will begin in July 2010. The project is scheduled for delivery in 2012."
