Christina Aguilera has once again reiterated her desire to work with Beyoncé.

Speaking from the Mawazine Festival, the 35-year-old said a song featuring the vocal prowess of both stars would be powerful.

“I actually love collaborating,” she says.

“It is always really fun to do that. I think we would make a pretty fierce combination. Nothing is in the making yet but it is out there.”

While she is hard at work on her new album, Aguilera doesn’t rule out returning to the big screen.

She last starred in the 2010 musical drama Burlesque alongside Cher.

“I will be interested in doing more movies at some point. But I definitely have to believe in the project and feel super passionate about it,” she says.

I had a great time with Cher in the movie. Anytime I am with strong women I get excited because the industry is male dominated most of the time.”

The Mawazine Festival continues until May 28. Visit www.festivalmawazine.ma for more details
