Arabic-language pop star Joseph Attieh is an avid reader of The National, based on evidence from his latest music video.
The Lebanese singing sensation must be a fan, having devoted a chunk of screen-time to shots of him enjoying the paper.
Attieh is spotted devouring the business section, before moving back to the news pages, in the video to Hobb W Mkattar, the title track from his new album.
In fact, it takes the 28-year-old heartthrob's love interest to tear him away from The National's award-winning journalism.
Check the clip below if you don’t believe us — The National appears at 3:20.
Attieh first found fame after winning the Star Academy Lebanon reality TV show in 2005, and has had hits from songs such as La Trouhi! and Habayt Aayounak.
