Alternative rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars will make their UAE debut on April 10.
The trio will perform at Dubai World Trade Centre, with a special gig held in conjunction with the Middle East Film & Comic Con, which is at the same venue from April 9 to 11.
However, the band – fronted by Hollywood actor Jared Leto and his brother Shannon – will have some considerable musical competition, with Scottish superstar Paolo Nutini booked to play at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on the same night.
Thirty Seconds to Mars have sold more than five million copies of their four albums, and picked up a dozen MTV Awards. Hit singles include From Yesterday, Kings and Queens and This Is War.
Tyler Mervyn, senior vice president of talent at promoters Live Nation, said: “Live Nation is very excited to welcome Thirty Seconds to Mars to Dubai.
“Their live sets are filled with emotion and inspiration and we simply cant wait. April 10 at the DWTC Arena will truly be a night to remember.”
Tickets, which start at Dh295 for general admission, go on sale at noon on February 11 from www.ticketmaster.ae.
