Dubai’s newest mall, The Beach at Jumeirah Beach Walk, is putting on a host of football-related activities until July 13 for World Cup fans.
This weekend brings a Brazilian carnival (Friday and Saturday evenings from 8pm). On Friday (June 20), watch freestyle football displays (8.30pm onwards); and every Friday until the end of the tournament shoppers can have their photo snapped with the official World Cup 2014 mascot Fuleco (8pm onwards).
From face painting to stalls selling official merchandise, there’s a lot on offer. If the fun gets too much, head to one of JBR’s several venues for a break or to watch the live World Cup games.
