Harrison Ford's injury will cause production on Star Wars: Episode VII to be suspended for two weeks. Disney announced that shooting would be halted for two weeks in August to adjust the production schedule following Ford's injury. The 71-year-old broke his leg in June during filming of the much-anticipated sequel at Pinewood Studios outside of London. Disney had said earlier that Ford's injury wouldn't cause any delays. The studio said Episode VII is still "on track" to wrap in the autumn and be released in December 2015. The accident involved a door on the Millennium Falcon falling on Ford's leg. His recuperation is expected to take up to two months. Meanwhile, two new actors have been added to the cast. Crystal Clarke and Pip Anderson, both largely unknown, have been cast from an open casting call by Disney and Lucasfilm that received 70,000 submissions. Clarke is a Glasgow-based American actress, while Anderson is a parkour expert and stunt performer. – AP

The Italian designer sent out opulent blue fur coats, voluminous silk ball gowns and gold-buckled corsets in what she called a celebration of "construction and deconstruction". Lopez, wearing a strapless white gown, posed with Versace on the steps of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry near the Champs-Élysées where the show was held. About 30 haute couture fashion shows, including those by some of the biggest names in fashion such as Chanel and Christian Dior, will be held in Paris over the next week, until July 11. – AFP
