Dubai’s first Dance Music Conference will feature a banner-grabbing headline DJ slot from Sister Bliss, best known as a founding member of iconic UK dance act Faithless.
The British electronic icon will spin at Pacha Ibiza Dubai on the opening night of the conference, which takes place on April 21-22.
The two-day event will bring together industry experts for a series of workshops and debates, all open to the public, also at Pacha.
Local promoters and musicians set to participate include Hollaphonic, Audio Tonic, Analog Room, Groove on the Grass promoters Artists Network , Shibuya and Coma.
“It’s a real pleasure to be travelling back to Dubai to be part of its first music conference, with so many well-respected international DJs, as well as exciting local talent,” said Sister Bliss.
Formed in 1995, Faithless disbanded in 2011, before a recent 20th anniversary reunion tour last year.
Also spinning at the April 21 gig will be DJs EDX and Mark Knight.
