Emirates Photography Competition now open for applicants

The ninth edition of the Emirates Photography Competition is now accepting applications. Organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), the annual event is open to amateur and professional photographers in the UAE.

The theme for this year’s main prize is “Family Album”. Other awards up for grabs include Best Portfolio, Black and White Portrait, Coloured Digital Photo the Monochromatic Digital Photo, Fine Arts in Photography and Photography Club, which is given to the best group participation by photography associations or clubs. A special gong dedicated to Emiratis is the Nour Ali Rashid award.

The winners will also be given the chance to host specialised workshops and seminars as well as individual and group exhibitions.

EPC is held under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the American Photography Association, the International Association of Photographers (IAP) and the Union of Arab Photographers (UAP).
