Brad Pitt will undergo drug and alcohol tests as part of a temporary agreement with his estranged wife Angelina Jolie that will allow him to see their six children.

The temporary agreement, which will run until October 20, was the first breakthrough in the bitter split between the superstar couple since Jolie filed for divorce on September 20. The actress cited “the health of the family” and sought full physical custody of the children.

Pitt, 52, and Jolie, 41, both agreed to undergo individual counselling, and Pitt’s initial visit with the children will take place with a therapist.

Pitt's next film is out next month. In the war drama Allied he stars alongside French actress Marion Cotillard. Cotillard last week issued a statement strongly denying any involvement in Pitt's divorce after rumours that they became romantically involved during filming. – Reuters

Will & Grace cast reunites for special

The cast of hit TV show Will & Grace has reunited, 10 years after the show's final episode, for a one-off special in the run up to the US elections. Supported by Hillary Clinton, the mini reunion features Grace (Debra Messing) and Will (Eric McCormack) fighting off Trump supporter Karen (Megan Mullally) and convincing the undecided Jack (Sean Hayes) to vote for Clinton.

The Independent reports that the crew kept filming of the episode secret and that it was all shot in the same studio where all the other episodes of the series were shot.

The series ended its eight-season run in 2006 and inevitably, the reunion sparked rumours about the possibility of a revival, but the cast members were reluctant to fuel the speculation.

“I don’t believe we would ever come back to network [TV] again,” said Messing.

“I think that the logistics of all of our lives, there would just be way too many things to hammer out.”
