Ben Stiller has appeared in a new teaser trailer for Zoolander 2, and fans could be forgiven for thinking the modelling comedy franchise has undergone something of a personality transplant for the second instalment.
The trailer opens with a disembodied Steven Hawking soundalike discussing the great mysterious of the universe while images of the big bang and Einstein’s theories flash across the screen. Luckily, normal service is resumed when Stiller’s intellectually challenged male model appears, and competely fails to grasp the pun used to make the discarded, provisional title 2oolander.
The movie promises more of the same madcap modelling hijinks as its prdecessor, when a rival modelling agency tries to take Stiller’s Derek Zoolander and his sidekick Hansel (Owen Wilson) out of the game. Cameos are promised from A-listers including Kim and Kanye, Lewis Hamilton and Justin Bieber, and the movie is set to roll out globally from February 2016.
