It’s official — Brian Wilson will perform classic album Pet Sounds in Dubai.
Following from recent unverified reports, it has now been officially announced that the Beach Boys legend will perform at Dubai Tennis Stadium on November 3.
Ticket details have also been confirmed for the first time, at a cost of Dh225 for seated and Dh250 for standing.
Wilson, 74, will arrive on what has billed as his final tour celebrating Pet Sounds, the experimental 1966 Beach Boys masterpiece still rated by many critics among the greatest rock albums ever made.
Joining Wilson onstage will be founding member Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, who joined the band in the 1970s and went on to tour as a backing musician with The Rolling Stones.
As well as performing Pet Sounds in full, recent set-lists promise swathes of the Beach Boys anthems including California Girls, I Get Around, Good Vibrations and Surfin' USA.
