The Dubai band Ascendant have nothing but love for their fellow metalheads Nervecell.
Both bands are performing as part of Dubai Rock Fest on Friday alongside the international acts Nightmare and Loudblast.
The Ascendant guitarist Alaa Abou Saada says he is thrilled to share the stage with UAE’s leading metal act.
“Nervecell are definitely an inspiration to us,” he says. “I’ve been in Dubai for 15 years and I’ve seen how the whole metal scene has developed. Nervecell are the leaders. They are a great band and their music is of international standard.”
