The internationally renowned alternative performer and multiple Guinness World Record holder, Johnny Strange, will be performing at Cirque le Soir in Dubai this Thursday, February 19.

Strange’s act includes death defying feats such as sword swallowing, juggling chainsaws and swallowing razor blades, while his Guinness World Record for the ‘heaviest weight lifted by pierced ears’ saw him lifting a staggering 14.9kg with nothing but the power of his lobes.

Johnny’s other world records include ‘most watermelons chopped in half on a human stomach’ — 10 in 30 seconds, with his assistant on a bed of nails for added interest; ‘most apples held in own mouth and chainsawed in one minute’ — eight, and its coveted sister title for apples chainsawed in someone else’s mouth, with 12.

“Attacking places of worship is a form of terrorism and extremism that threatens peace and stability within societies,” it said.

The council also warned against the rise of hate speech, racism, extremism and Islamophobia. It urged the international community to join efforts to promote tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
