Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reportedly in Dubai

The web is abuzz with reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was spotted in Dubai this week. She was apparently here for an advertising shoot as well as to to check out her property in Sanctuary Falls, Jumeirah Golf Estates. A photo of Bachchan in Sanctuary Falls was posted on Twitter by the Dubai-based PR agency Muse Dubai, but the post was taken down hours later. The image was re-posted on the Huffington Post Canada website. – The National staff

Hrithik Roshan will release the poster of his forthcoming superhero film Krrish 3 during an interactive chat with fans over Facebook on Thursday, said the Hindustan Times. "Today's technology is simply phenomenal; in an instant we can get immediate reactions and feedback on our films," said Roshan. "I'm a huge believer in the power of social media because it directly involves our fans and supporters, and for a movie such as Krrish 3, it takes the experience to the next level." The actress Madhuri Dixit has been roped in to perform at the 14th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Macau on July 6. "I'm excited to be on the IIFA stage for the first time," Dixit, 46, told BollywoodLife.com. "I think it is a great fit, especially since we're celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema." The actress will dance to some of her best numbers, including Ek Do Teen and Ghagra. The ceremony will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor. -

The official trailer of Prakash Jha's movie Satyagraha, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor, will be launched simultaneously in London and Mumbai. "We will have a global trailer launch of Satyagraha," said Jha. "Devgn and Kapoor will be present in London, while Bachchan, other cast members and I will be in Mumbai. There will be a video conference between us all, making it a truly international affair." The political thriller is scheduled to release on August 23. – IANS
