Warehouse421 and Abu Dhabi Art present Galleries Week, showcasing emerging artists from the UAE capital, Dubai and Jeddah. There is also a marketplace and food trucks. Today, you can join family workshops on watercolours and collage, then at 8.30pm, Dubai funk-rock band Carl and the Reda Mafia perform.

Yas Marina Springtime Festival is a day of themed entertainment and food. Children can enjoy a petting farm, pony rides, arts and crafts, while parents can paint vintage furniture or try clay-modelling. A pop-up market will feature 40 artisans.

As part of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi workshops, Abu Dhabi Crossroads: Susan Hefuna in Collaboration with Attitude Dance Society features a talk on how the sequential dance performance developed. It is inspired by Hefuna's exploration of movement and the social interaction of people and architecture. The dancers interpret her drawings and choreography, about the crossroads in the capital. An extended evening of music, art and activities will follow, related to the artwork in The Creative Act: Performance, Process, Presence.

Take part in Easter activities at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, including a Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory treasure hunt for goodies hidden throughout the mall. See the opening performance of Macbeth. Constellation Productions presents Shakespeare's tragedy, enacted by an all-female cast, as an immersive experience set in the present-day UAE, in the cut-throat corporate world. The board members of the Scotland Corp, a security and surveillance company, find themselves under the control of a new leader, who arrives at the position in an unorthodox fashion. Additional performances will take place in Dubai and Ajman on forthcoming weekends.
