Abu Dhabi Film
Attend a screening of the 2014 drama Jimmy's Hall at Cinema Space's new venue at Manarat Al Saadiyat. Directed by Ken Loach, the film is set in Ireland, where activist Jimmy Gralton (Barry Ward) has returned from the United States during the Great Depression to look after his mum. The dance hall he built was once popular, but conservative townspeople forced it to close and Jimmy fled. Now the local youngsters need a place to gather and enjoy life.

Al Ain Festival
At the third edition of the National Traditional Handicrafts Festival, visitors can explore traditional techniques used to make fabrics and textiles, such as Sadu weaving, visit a traditional market featuring clothing, perfumes, incense, spices, herbs, jewellery, henna and Emirati cuisine. Children are invited to take part in Ice Tots, special ice-skating sessions at Dubai Ice Rink that will help them gain confidence on the ice and bond with their parent or carer.
