Catch the final days of Bayn: The In-Between, a group exhibit that explores the transformations that the current generation of artists have witnessed in the UAE and the region. It seeks to describe and question the threshold found between a starting point and its end, highlighting the state as equally important to the beginning – in this case the history of the UAE – and its end goal: the future. Fitness event

TrainYas, presented by Daman’s ActiveLife, has extended its hours during Ramadan so you can enjoy fitness in the cooler evenings even longer. Walk, jog, run or bike around the 5.55km Yas Marina Circuit with family and friends. Bikes and helmets are available for rent from Fun Ride Sports, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has bikes available to borrow.

Bawabat Al Sharq has family-friendly Ramadan festivities in line with the UAE’s Year of Giving, which promote Emirati culture. There is henna, calligraphy, oud music, a falcon show, children’s arts and crafts where they can make lanterns, and more. Make-A-Wish Foundation presents Souq Al Omniyat, featuring 50 vendors selling clothing, perfumes and accessories.

Cape Town Opera will present Mandela Trilogy, a musical tribute to South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and former president Nelson Mandela.
