Rub shoulders with Titan the Robot at Yas Island during Eid and you’ll be supporting a charitable cause, especially if he manages to make you smile with his one-liners.
Yas Island has initiated the Joy of Eid campaign, which will see Titan making stops at Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World, Cascade Dining and Yas Mall to interact with families.
As part of the initiative, which will run until September 17, Titan has been tasked with making people smile, and getting them to share their photos on social media using the hashtag #YasJoyOfEid. For each photo shared, Yas Island will contribute a sum of money towards the construction of two schools and playgrounds in Pakistan and Mauritania.
Other activities planned for Eid on the island include, dance shows, bubble performances, face painting, kids crafts and a storyboard maze at Ferrari World daily; Arabic drummers, DJs and interactions with Iftah Ya Simsim characters at Yas Waterworld (until September 17); and free live stage shows, magic shows, flash mobs and traditional Ayallah dancing at Yas Mall from September 12 to 14.
