Spotted: Leonardo DiCaprio takes a French twist on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road

Leonardo DiCaprio has claimed that Dubai is “just like Paris,” or at least one French restaurant close to Dubai World Trade Centre is.

Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio, star of films including The Wolf of Wall Street and The Revenant, is in Dubai. The actor is on a low key visit to Sustainable City (the first operational Net Zero Energy housing complex in Dubai) in his side role as a global environmental champion.

He found time to drop in at La Mome restaurant in Nassima Royal Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. The star was with a mixed group of “around 12 guys and girls,” and feasted on a decidedly English-sounding Dover sole, and an undeniably Swiss Toblerone chocolate mousse dessert.

Despite his pan-European meal, DiCaprio took time out to sign the guest book, noting his experience had been just “like Paris.”
