Calling all emerging Emirati artists and designers! Want to show off your creative talent? TCA Abu Dhabi has an open call for applications for the annual Wings Project as part of the 2017 Abu Dhabi Art programme.
The Wings Project is an competition aimed at emerging Emirati talent over the age of 18. The contest invites applicants to put to use their creativity and recreate the 'Wing' shape that forms part of the Abu Dhabi Art logo. Three designs will be selected as the winners and each will receive a prize of Dh5,000 and get a VIP invitation to Abu Dhabi Art.
Commenting on the annual competition, Director of Abu Dhabi Art Dyala Nusseibeh said, “The Wings Project allows us to support creativity and design innovation through a very distinct initiative. We look forward to seeing the new entries this year.”
Applicants can submit entries via email at wings@abudhabiart.ae while the application forms can be downloaded at www.abudhabiart.ae. The deadline to submit entries is July 16 and all entries should feature the ‘Wing’.
