While Thursday's, April 2 sandstorm delayed the band's arrival in Dubai, One Direction put the time to good use by catching up on their cinema. "We nearly didn't make it here because there was a big sand storm," Niall Horan told the crowd. Instead the band were stuck on the plane for 18 hours, after being diverted to Bahrain to avoid the dust clouds. "We watched Django – it was a good film," deadpanned Liam. It's not clear if he meant the 1966 spaghetti western, or the 2012 Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained it inspired. However the band made up for the dead time on Friday (April 4), said Liam, boasting to the crowd that the band had a "strong night out" in Dubai.
