Rudimental and Sigala will headline Zero Gravity’s New Year’s Eve Beach Festival to ring in 2019. Both UK dance acts will perform at the Dubai beach club on December 31 in the lead up to the big countdown. Rudimental's catchy brand of house, soul and funk has made them international festival favourites. They were catapulted to the world stage after their debut 2013 album, Home, sold more than 300,000 copies in the UK alone, bagged a Mercury nomination, sparked eight singles and scored them No 1 smashes Feel the Love and Waiting All Night, helping launch the careers of John Newman, Ella Eyre and Emeli Sandé - who have all played in the UAE themselves. Their follow up album, 2015's We the Generation, was well received on the back of hit single Bloodstream (featuring Ed Sheeran) and their Vance Joy collaboration Never Let You Go, and the group are returning to Dubai while working on their third album, titled Toast to Our Differences. Talking to the UK press about their latest album, Rudimental’s DJ Locksmith promised another collaborative affair. “There are some amazing new artists coming through, and we as Rudimental always like to give a platform to new talent. Look out for the likes of Yebba, Olivia Dean, Kojey Radical, Kybaka Pyramid, Protoje and Chronixx,” he said. "Toast to Our Differences is a celebration of different artists from around the world coming together on music you wouldn't necessarily expect." Sigala's New Year's Eve show will come on the back of his upcoming performance as part of the Abu Dhabi F1. The DJ, responsible for the hits Easy Love and Lullaby, will also perform at an exclusive party at Amber Lounge at the Yas Links Golf Club on November 24 and 25. He will arrive in the UAE to play a fistful of new tunes from his recently released debut album Brighter Days, an effervescent collection of beachy party tracks featuring the likes of Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith and Meghan Trainor. New Year’s Eve Beach Festival at Zero Gravity at Dubai Marina is on December 31.
