Marc Anthony’s offering his virtual concert for free after the livestream platform which was scheduled to host it on Saturday night had a technical "collapse".
The show had sold thousands of tickets to fans worldwide and was also supposed to host singer Daddy Yankee, with whom he had collaborated on the recent hit song De Vuelta pa' La Vuelta.
While Anthony at first posted that they were experiencing a delay, the artist soon issued an apology that the show was not happening due to "the overwhelming demand that cause a complete collapse of the streaming platform."
"I am deeply sorry for this technology failure that unfortunately was out of our control," he wrote. "You can rest assured that I am doing everything in my power to make sure that the people that spent their hard-earned money have the opportunity to see the show as soon as possible and will make it right for you all."
Soon after, the artist announced on Twitter that the recorded version of the show will be available to watch for free on his YouTube channel and that all ticket holders would be refunded.
"Since I promised you a concert, I am giving you one," Anthony said on his social media. The concert, which premiered 13 hours ago, is available online now.
