To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Dubai Shopping Festival, a host of international stars will perform free concerts in the city at the end of the month.
On Thursday, December 26, regional singers Cheb Khaled, Sherine Abdel Wahab and Hussain Al Jassmi will play a free concert in Burj Park, Downtown Dubai, before UK singers Liam Payne and Jorja Smith perform, also for free, the following evening on Friday, December 27.
The concerts will mark the grand opening weekend of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which is set to run until February 1, offering discounts of up to 75 per cent at more than 4,000 stores across the city.
Tickets for the concert are free, you just need to register in advance at visitdubai.com because spaces are limited.
Apart from the music, there will be plenty of other activities across the opening weekend, including children’s craft stations, ball-pits, and competitions.
The weekend will also see the launch of a new Dubai Fountain Show.
Doors for the concerts will open at 3pm on both days.
