The brightest stars in music will vie for the industry's top awards at the Grammys in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Beyonce leads the pack with nine chances at Grammy gold, followed by rapper Kendrick Lamar with eight. Adele and fellow balladeer Brandi Carlile scored seven nods each.
Beyonce is already the most-nominated artist in history, tied with her husband, Jay-Z, with 88 nods each. If she wins four Grammys, she will overtake classical conductor Georg Solti for the most wins by any artist. She's currently tied with music power player Quincy Jones for the second-most Grammy wins.
Lamar, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are also among the front-runners at the gala, which is primed to be the most star-studded in recent memory.
The 65th annual ceremony will be hosted once again by comedian Trevor Noah and will include performances by major contenders including Styles, Bad Bunny, Lizzo and Mary J Blige.

Farage on Muslim Brotherhood
Nigel Farage told Reform's annual conference that the party will proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood if he becomes Prime Minister.
"We will stop dangerous organisations with links to terrorism operating in our country," he said. "Quite why we've been so gutless about this – both Labour and Conservative – I don't know.
“All across the Middle East, countries have banned and proscribed the Muslim Brotherhood as a dangerous organisation. We will do the very same.”
It is 10 years since a ground-breaking report into the Muslim Brotherhood by Sir John Jenkins.
Among the former diplomat's findings was an assessment that “the use of extreme violence in the pursuit of the perfect Islamic society” has “never been institutionally disowned” by the movement.
The prime minister at the time, David Cameron, who commissioned the report, said membership or association with the Muslim Brotherhood was a "possible indicator of extremism" but it would not be banned.
