Videos of the former Miss Lebanon Karen Ghrawi taking a tumble as she took her final walk before handing over her crown have set the internet alight.
The embarrassing situation happened when Ms Ghrawi was about to hand over her title to the new Miss Lebanon, Sally Greige, at the Casino du Liban in Maameltein, north of Beirut.
Ghrawi slipped and fell, apparently over her heels, but quickly righted herself. The fall, which happened in front of thousands of viewers, ironically took place while the commentator in the background was talking about how the country of Lebanon has stood strong despite everything that has happened.
Website bisara7a quoted Ghrawi as saying: "This accident could happen to a lot of people, what's more important than the fall is the ability to stand up again and follow it up with a laugh. I love you all."
