Hollywood A-lister Robert De Niro will be hanging out in the UAE next week, but he’s not coming to film a movie, he’ll be here to press the flesh at a business conference.

De Niro, who has starred in more than 100 films including The Godfather, Taxi Driver and The Intern, will speak at a Dubai event which is designed to boost tourism in Antigua and Barbuda.

The 73-year-old actor and producer is passionate about the Caribbean tourism industry, and has invested US$250 million into a resort project in Barbuda. He is partnering with Australian businessman James Packer.
