Every year, legions of people put away their razors for the month of November and instead embrace Movember.
The annual initiative, which originated in Australia, encourages men to grow their moustache (not to be confused with the standard quarantine beard) in an effort to raise both awareness and funds for men’s health. This year, a number of famous faces have been sporting some questionable mustaches in order to do their bit for the cause - here’s a look at some of them...
Liam Payne
The former One Direction singer took to social media to announce he was doing his bit by growing a moustache this Movember, sharing a snap that captured his new facial hair in all its glory.
“Help support the crucial work Movember do for men's mental health, suicide prevention, testicular and prostate cancer,” he said.

English former professional and his wife Abbey Clancy both participated in a photoshoot wearing moustaches to raise awareness ahead of the campaign. “I’ve long supported Movember and the important work they do for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male mental health,” he said of his involvement.

True to his word, Crouch grew out his facial hair, and shared the journey on social media, through regular pictures.
Mo Farah
The British long-distance runner showed his support for the initiative with a well-groomed moustache and goatee.
Sam Claflin
The English actor, of Peaky Blinders and Enola Holmes, fame also pledged to the initiative. Pictures shared throughout the month of November show him flaunting his facial hair - a look that definitely grows on you.
Jesse James Wood
The English singer grew quite the moustache over the last month, sharing each stage of the journey on social media. From showing off his stubble at the beginning of the month with a candid caption about his “moustache growth not going great at the MOment”, to showing his final ‘stache at the end of the month, he wasn’t afraid to get honest with his regular updates.
