New details of Salman Khan's Abu Dhabi Race 3 film shoot have just been revealed: he will shoot in six locations across the capital over 35 days.
These locations are luxury hotel Emirates Palace, the distinct Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi, the St Regis Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec), Emirates Steel and the Liwa Desert.
It has also been revealed that the film's stunt director Tom Struthers will work with the UAE Armed Forces to achieve the action elements of the film. The UAE military support will include providing a Blackhawk helicopter, Oshkosh trucks, NIMR military vehicles, and Humvees.
Salman Khan was in Abu Dhabi to shoot mega-hit Tiger Zinda Hai just six months ago: "His return is testament to the confidence of Bollywood studios in twofour54's proven capabilities in delivering large, complex productions successfully," said H.E. Maryam Eid AlMheiri, CEO of Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi and twofour54.
"It is wonderful to be back in Abu Dhabi," said Salman Khan, "which is such an incredible filming location. Last year, we spent much of our 70-day shoot for Tiger Zinda Hai on the city's incredible backlot, so it will be exciting to explore more of the Emirate with Race 3 as we shoot across six locations.
This is the fifth major Indian movie to shoot in Abu Dhabi. Race 3 stars Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. It is being directed by Remo D'Souza
"We already have a full slate of films using the Emirate as a location this year," AlMheiri said, pointing out that Race 3 is just one of the first films to be partly shot in Abu Dhabi this year, along with Mission Impossible.
In the past few years, films such as Universal Pictures' Furious 7 and The Bourne Legacy, and Disney' Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been shot in Abu Dhabi. Bollywood hits that have been shot in Abu Dhabi include Dishoom, Baby, and Bang Bang.

Libya's Gold
UN Panel of Experts found regime secretly sold a fifth of the country's gold reserves.
The panel’s 2017 report followed a trail to West Africa where large sums of cash and gold were hidden by Abdullah Al Senussi, Qaddafi’s former intelligence chief, in 2011.
Cases filled with cash that was said to amount to $560m in 100 dollar notes, that was kept by a group of Libyans in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
A second stash was said to have been held in Accra, Ghana, inside boxes at the local offices of an international human rights organisation based in France.

Safety 'top priority' for rival hyperloop company
The chief operating officer of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Andres de Leon, said his company's hyperloop technology is “ready” and safe.
He said the company prioritised safety throughout its development and, last year, Munich Re, one of the world's largest reinsurance companies, announced it was ready to insure their technology.
“Our levitation, propulsion, and vacuum technology have all been developed [...] over several decades and have been deployed and tested at full scale,” he said in a statement to The National.
“Only once the system has been certified and approved will it move people,” he said.
HyperloopTT has begun designing and engineering processes for its Abu Dhabi projects and hopes to break ground soon.
With no delivery date yet announced, Mr de Leon said timelines had to be considered carefully, as government approval, permits, and regulations could create necessary delays.

Classification of skills
A worker is categorised as skilled by the MOHRE based on nine levels given in the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) issued by the International Labour Organisation.

Uefa Nations League: How it Works
The Uefa Nations League, introduced last year, has reached its final stage, to be played over five days in northern Portugal. The format of its closing tournament is compact, spread over two semi-finals, with the first, Portugal versus Switzerland in Porto on Wednesday evening, and the second, England against the Netherlands, in Guimaraes, on Thursday.
